Thing #31 Plaxo

I've used jotlet and google calendars before. Plaxo is a newer and more integrated online offering. Quite useful in its' own right if you're into sharing calendars with online family/friends. Yet another site that invites you to call their offering your home page/portal.

Thing #30 LOLCats

Call me a spoilsport if you will....i've seen literally thousands of cute and funny animal images, and been spammed with same since i had my first email address back in the nineties. This excercise is pure indulgence for some. LOLCats needs a search box.

Thing #29 Scrapblog

Scrapblog has a very intuitive interface, and the ajax framework used is solid. some editing took a long time to load/save, most likely because of our network slowness. Definitely one of the nicest tools out there. My scrapblog

Thing #27 Photobucket

I'm sure it's a great tool however, the sign up process is circumvented by our network security.
Had a look around though....some of the "most popular" images seemed "rough around the edges". I guess photobucket attracts the same crowd as myspace.

Thing #26 Yourminis

Great widgets. The live preview area and widget editing is very responsive. The widgets are nicely simple, and hence easy to work with.
Of course I've already been spoilt with OSX Leopard operating system, which makes it easy to cut out bits of web pages to create own widgets, instead of delving into Flash. Good to see the good aesthetic sense produced by Apple being provided for all.

Thing #25 Letterpop

Nifty little online newsletter tool. Unfortunatelly functionality seems a bit broken. This may be due to network security, can't tell. Clicking on the tick to save text etc failed to save....so no saved newsletter could be produced.
Assuming Letterpop works outside our network....it's a quick way to produce a online newsletter.

Thing #24 Zamzar online file conversion

It's a great way to convert small files between formats, without having to have all the right software.
Once we start keeping all our data on the web, it will become even useful for conversion of large files.
